You find a flock of “birds” squawking in the field near the edge of the forest. You raise your weapon and shoot at a bird. You miss and the whole flock takes to the sky. Their speed is amazing, probably because each bird has 4 wings. You check out the field where they were and realize it’s full of nests. There are thousands of eggs in the surrounding nests. You gather one or two from several nests and return to your ship. You cook them up and they’re the best eggs you’ve ever had. You’ve found a protein source!
